sickle feather? EE

Ok this chicken has never looked or acted like a cockerel but... over the past couple weeks it has grown this funny big sickle? feather. Does this happen to pullets sometimes? For reference she/he is 3 months old and an EE.
See it sticking up back there??

That bird is a pullet. It's just a main tail feather she's grown in, not a sickle

Yes, that is a hen....I have one just like her. We call her-- HAWK--she is so friendly, just a beautiful girl.

I agree with everyone else that that is a pullet.

My Easter Egger had a similar tail. It started out as a pretty and very upright tail. When she lost a few of the big feathers in the end of her tail, but not all, it looked suspicious like that too. Once they grew back in the same as before, she was back to looking like a pullet. Mine did it about the same age too. She is now 20 weeks.

If you see stringy saddle fringe hanging off the sides, that is a sign of a male. Many pullets have a long tail feather and they usually molt it out.
