I am not going to be very popular on this advise, but you have to take care of yourself. If you keep stressing over this you won't help yourself or the duck.

You could just forget about it and save another duck another day. If you don't take care of your self, you can't take care of others.


You could find a friend these people have never met. Send them to buy the duck. It is importiant that they act as though they think nothing is wrong with the duck. Only make coments about how cute it is, and they have been looking all over for a duck to buy.

It is. Possible that nagging them more may make them decide to destroy the duck.

If anyone here can think of more clever ploys to obtain the duck, well that is good. But to put the burden on you alone at this point is not right. You really tried, and they are on to you now.

If you choose to have a friend try, or some other likely way to free the duck, I am willing to send $10 to you through ebay. (I wish I could afford more) If everyone here does the same you should have enough to buy the duck and medicine.

I would be willing to donate to that cause. We can transfer money through payoal. It will cost extra to convert it to AUD, but that would be the easiest way. People could even use their credit card without setting up a PayPal account I believe.
