1) What type of bird , age and weight. EE, 5mos around 4pounds (she's the smallest pullet I have and is the runt of the gang)
2) What is the behavior, exactly. She is acting fine
3) Is there any bleeding, injury, broken bones or other sign of trauma. no
4) What happened, if anything that you know of, that may have caused the situation. I am dealing with another sick pullet who refuses to eat or drink. She has no sign of bloody poo & her illness is unknown5) What has the bird been eating and drinking, if at all.
6) How does the poop look? Normal? Bloody? Runny? etc. I noticed blood yesterday in the coop. Check everyone's vent, had a BA that had her tail feathers pulled out and a little bloody. I thought that was the blood issue. Then this am when giving out treat the sick EE pooed normal and then pooed almost pure blood w/a little white mixed in
7) What has been the treatment you have administered so far? Nothing, gave everyone yogurt this am
8 ) What is your intent as far as treatment? For example, do you want to treat completely yourself, or do you need help in stabilizing the bird til you can get to a vet? I will be treating myself
9) If you have a picture of the wound or condition, please post it. It may help.
10) Describe the housing/bedding in use. 9*4 coop w/pine shavings and 20*10 run mostly dirt and mulch

I'm thinking Cocci?? cuz of the bloody poo...but what do you guys think? Thanks again!!!

Thanks! I'll do some research here on cocci & seperate her once I get home from work. I just wanted to make sure that it is probably Cocci before I treat the whole gang.

UPDATE: I searched and searched for Corid all over my city today, they didn't even carry Sulmet (even at TSC). I ended up driving 40 minutes away for some Sulmet. I actually wanted Corid after reading all the posts on here. When I got there I remembered reading a post stating that Corid & Ampro are the same med. I saw Ampro on the shelf that was in the rabbit section. I asked the manager there about it, he wasn't sure so he called the manufacturer/supplier & verified that Ampro was okay for me (I just found a new feed store, even IF I have to drive 40 minutes!). So I wanted to make sure that I gave the correct amount. On the bottles it stated 1tsp for 1 gallon, but remember it was in the bunny aisle. So I searched this site (which I cannot even tell you how much I

this site!) & found out the correct dosage and dosed the 5-gallon waterer w/5tsp Ampro. I need to verify 2 things please:
1) I dosed correctly
2) My family and I can still enjoy their eggs (hence the reason of not getting the Sulmet)

Thank you guys all sooooo much!! I don't know what I would do without the site
