Spook!

hey Sour....I live in WV where fall arrives in mid August and winter sometimes arrives in Mid October. Is it too late in the year to ask for broody magic? I don't want to have them hatch chicks and then they die due to the cold. I'm kinda a soft heart when it comes to my babies... Should I just get the eggs everyday and let them hatch some later in the spring next year? I will take any suggestions I can get. I'm sooo lost on this!!

What did Spook do?

Everyone knows rubbing a bunny foot brings good
luck.

Uh...the best place for Spook to raise chicks is in the
living room. Until they learn to bounce outta the box.

Orps, ask JT - he can lay some 'laying juju' on your flock. When properly applied, it can sometimes overpower the broody magic.

You know, I heard a rumor that if you rub a Bunny's feet
you'll have good luck...
No guarantees on the luck, but it ain't a bad place to start!

Keep us posted on the trees, Spook. Your idea sounds interesting.

At the Cape Fear Serpentarium here in Wilmington, they have some recycled movie props that look like carved stone, but are actually Styrofoam. They are snake heads from one of the Indiana Jones movies. Even up close, the effect is so good, they have to have signs over them warning kids not to climb on them.

The ever changing woods.

I'm thinking of making roadsigns in the woods as Hana
learns to drive. And as she goes for walks alone and with
her friends.

Names not much halloween themed as much as catchy
phrases for teenagers. I'm thinking scrap plywood as my
building material. It should last for a few years until we
face another complete redo.

Between now and fall, I want the entire woods redone as
her personal playground. If we halloween there, it'll be in
her world.

Here's a few names I've come up with but if you can think
of a catchy one, throw it in. I need ideals. I'm not even sure
of how many trails there is. Some only a few feet in legenth,
others go quite a way. Most are driveable, some are designed
as footpaths.
