How many years did it take you to learn that, Sour?

Apparently there is still work to be done. Last night we went out for our obligatory Christmas eve Chinese food followed by a trip to my sister's. The Princess was very pretty in a black skirt and beaded sweater - her comment as I entered the living room, "See you decided to dress up for Christmas eve." My response, "Is there a bit of sarcasm in that? My family wouldn't know me if I were dressed differently." Apparently blue jeans and a flannel shirt were unacceptable. She's still working on taking the country out of the 'boy'.

Shortly we will be off to see Les Miserables'. (Still wearing blue jeans and a flannel shirt.) Ribroast is in the oven with the timer set to do it's job - wish me luck on that. I don't trust 'technology' of any sort, and it hates me. Last time I used the automated check out at BJ's it malfunctioned while giving me change and it took 20 minutes to resolve the situation.
