*sigh* I'm loosing my touch. (Warning: Hi-jacked by Em)

You don't know what you're missing. Real dancing... Square and contra and waltz and jitterbug... Is the most fun ever. Before I got sick, I used to go square dancing with my friends and our homeschool group! And my sister and i would watch the Laurence Welk show on saturday nights and dance to it (there are some old pictures of that somewhere...) Oh, it was a blast! Eenie can dance like people in Jane Austen's :love time (and she looks lovely in clothes from that period.) real dancing is like having a conversation without using words... Oh, for the good old days of dancing instead of grinding!

Is it any wonder women fall apart in Spooks arms? Here Spook my friend, I made you some brownies, and Terry's been keeping your seat warm. *pushes MFB out of his rocker*

Not that I don't enjoy watching PSY or anything, but that isn't real dancing. That is yet another glorification of the sexualization of human interaction. Watch the modern singers... Crotch grabbing, lyrics that are blatantly explicit... It's disgusting, and it's bad for you!

ETA... I just wrote an article on my blog about this... Lemme se if I can find it. :)

Y'all stooooooop! I miss dancing with a partner............I still dance alone, though.......with reckless abandon, I might add. You should have seen my rendition of 'Born to be Wild' this morning. The boys were duly embarrassed.

It remains the duty of all parents to embarass their children and delight their grandchildren with their antics. I can still hear my SIL saying to my daughter, "Kelly, can't you get him to stop?", and her reply, "Jer, it's my father.
