*sigh* I'm loosing my touch. (Warning: Hi-jacked by Em)

It's an ill wind or misplaced GPS that 'blows' no good.

Would it blow me a pipping hot sandwich?

Alaskan.......the hungy

ETA: Pipping hot...hummmmmm

I think I meant piping hot. Not sure what a pipping hot sandwich is. Maybe a stack of eggs about to hatch?

Alaskan, I'm reminded of that nursery rhyme,

"Sing a song of sixpence, a pocket full of rye
Four and twenty blackbirds baked in a pie
When the pie was opened, the birds began to sing . . . " .

I never understood that nursery rhyme. If they were baked in a pie, how could they 'begin to sing' when it was opened? Poetry always got me in trouble. Teachers hate when you disagree with their interpretation of a poem. Seriously who says their interpretation is the right one? Maybe poetry is supposed to mean different things to different people?

Anyways, can someone explain how those 24 blackbirds were still able to 'sing' after being baked in a pie?

It was baked at 101.0 degrees F.

So, BROODED. Then, those warm and toasty eggs all hatched.

Good answer!!!

Now, a teeennnnyyy tinnnyyyy bit off subject, but can someone please tell me what color eggs a Silver Laced Wyandotte lays? Mini found an unusual light brown egg in the nest two days ago, and I found one yesterday that looked the same as the first one. My production reds always lay smooth light brown eggs, and these two eggs had creases running from end to end. They look like they were laid by a newbie.

I now return you to the regularly scheduled wackiness that is this thread...

Alaskan, why not put a pic of a moose as your avatar? Or the wheels that were buried under the snow....did you ever find those?

Well, I'm off to bed. It's been a long night, first work then had to take Mini to the orthopedic doc and I am tired!!! Night y'all.

Oh! Yes! That would be so PC and BYC approved!

A pic of a dead vole!

(Kinda think I would get in trouble for that)

Alaskan......who is thinking, maybe a cute picture of a vole would work. BUT WHY WOULD I WANT A PIC OF MY ARCH NEMESIS AS MY AVATAR? But, maybe the lost tires......

Alaskan, when the last of your snow finally disappears (for the 6 or so days of the years when it does) will you change your siggie to "sadly staring at voles?"

Hey, doodle!

No clue on the eggs, never had Wyandottes.

Hope you had some good news at the doc's. Sleep well!
