*sigh* I'm loosing my touch. (Warning: Hi-jacked by Em)

*sigh* Do you really want that mental image, Alaskan?

And actually, my comment about cold viruses was a play on a line from an old Charles Schultz cartoon, "How could a loving God ever create big brothers?" - from the book Two by Fours. (there's no telling where my brain goes . . . . Which reminds me, has anyone seen it running around here? It's small, kinda fuzzy . . )

ooooooooh, that is so nasty! You do know don't you, that lots of mold is bad for chickens, right? You should really compost it, not let them eat it. But, at least it is green, and you do keep saying how much you love green things!

In the line of "being grateful for small favors," it appears that I am in one of the cycles that trouble comes in. Latte (one of my horses) has apparently decided I wasn't paying enough attention to her. Her right foreleg had nearly doubled in size this morning. $250 worth of Vet visit later, we have a diagnosis of a foreign body (like a splinter) so we're doing antibiotics and poultices and that sort of fun stuff. We're talking horses here, so if I get off this cheap, I've a lot to be thankful for.

You don't think I jinxed you all? huh? huh?

By they way.........

Alaskan has a watermelon growing from the ceiling!

WHOOP!!!

You're welcome, Wisher. Bet you'll never hear the song again without thinking "watermelon" now!

(Though watermelons don't dance on the ceiling any better than I do.)

Yeah, Alaskan, some of us are really old.

Some might even be this old.

Some might even be old enough to understand why the fact that my high school math teacher's name was "Mrs. Brickhouse" was cause for occasional bursts of adolescent hilarity.
