Ummm, no. Should it? Is there something apocalyptic about pg2K? The sky falls on BYC on a regular basis, what could be worse? Does sanity break out in the kingdom?

I think maybe I'll go work on a Bunny bomb shelter, just in case.

But, boy oh boy! I'm glad to say, my Guardian Angel is still looking out for me. Y'see, we have this flower bed in front of the house that sort of transitions into a wooded area. The exact point of transition is rather vague, and to be honest, it's gotten a bit overrun with viney things this year. I've been meaning to clean it up, but boy, am I glad I haven't. I just discovered that there's a yellow jacket nest in there. I walk within 4 feet of the nest every time i go out to my car, and I just now spotted them. Good thing. The way things have been going for me lately, a couple stings from those guys would put me in the hospital!

True, we have gained, but we have lost participants, too. Some of our most gifted (or afflicted) either no longer post, or do so rarely. Surely that balances out?

And I daresay that we all know some of the craziest of crazies have only made brief visits to the kingdom - they didn't dwell here.
