*sigh* I'm loosing my touch. (Warning: Hi-jacked by Em)

I knew that, but my innate fear kept me from acknowledging that fact.

Kind of like a little kid covering his eyes - "if I can't see it, it can't see me?"

Does watching classic Doctor Who count as studying if my Spanish textbook is open nearby?

Anyway, I like bagpipes. But maybe that's just my Scottish ancestry coming out.
Only if you are watching it with the sound turned off and Spanish subtitles.

I like bagpipes too. I find the music stirring. Of course, I'm not sure that the "stirring" sensation isn't a barely-repressed urge to run for the hills!
Hmm...

"If I refuse to acknowledge it, it does not exist." Works for me.

I am not a shopper - never have been, and I get worse every year. I'm like, "If you want it, go buy it, and I will wrap it and give it to you." The Princess does not like that so she gives me a hundred catalogs with items selected. I pick some things and that way she gets to be 'surprised'. I just finished the bulk of my Christmas shopping via telephone. What a horrible job those people have. They have to offer you special deals, % off, elite service, whatever . I am like, "Thanks anyway, ain't buyin' nothin' more.".

One thing I do like shopping for is jewelry. Weird? The only jewelry that I wear is a simple gold band, but I love jewelry for the Princess.

Sour, if you haven't done any "body art" before now, I'd tread carefully on the matter of piercings and tattoos. How does the rest of your family feel about these things? I knew an older lady on another forum that had a line drawing of a miniature horse inked on her forearm; another member of the forum drew it for her. Next thing she knew, a family member was trying to get Power of Attorney over her; they seemed to feel that tattoo was evidence that she was "losing it."

He who dishes it out must accept the same with grace.

Poor tattoo artist would have to dodge the 'old age lumps, bumps, and growths' to find enough clean skin for a tat of any size. DD has a tattoo on her foot, and GD has a BIG tattoo on her side. All others have none, but I can predict that both grandsons will eventually get tattoos.

Hmm... The way I see it, its just a waste of money. And they fade with time too.

My DW got a tattoo. She had to have more color added to it last year.

Type 2 diabetic so it soon became badly infected....

My Uncle has one that says Sharon--He has had several new wives since getting the tattoo--none of them named Sharon....The Tattoo should have said Yes Dear!
