I can hardly believe I am posting this. I'm sure all have different opinions. Mine.. If on a very very long car ride..say as though going to Arizona from Utah, back in the 80's, and your youngest has to go, and we are out in the middle of the dessert, miles from a gas station..I say yes to peeing on a tree. Wait, there were no trees. There were cactus! Don't worry, we just let him go on the side of the road, hardly any traffic to be seen the whole time driving this highway. He got a few rocks wet, while we listened to rattle snakes..all over out there! Oh this could have gone bad, very bad. True story.

That reminds me of two trips ...1st time seeing a dude relieving himself publicly was on the highway in San Diego. A guy pulled his car over on to the median walked up the hill and right there for all to see. At least there was some distance and everything was not fully exposed.

2nd was in Detroit during a traffic jam. Right in the middle of the expessway no median only a metal barrier. Only it didn't block ANYTHING!. Yep much over exposure, the full monty as they say in the UK.

Neither of those were on my "sights to see" list.

Just got yelled at. The Princess went to town, and I mowed the lawn. Usually I get harassed for NOT mowing.

Hey, I'm taking Vicodin - if my back still hurts I either don't know or don't care. This is good stuff.

What was the yelling for? Cutting off the pretty yellow flower heads?

Actually the dandelions have been replaced by some little yellow daisy-like flowers - if not for weeds and wild stuff my lawn would not exist. Nah, she doesn't mind killing the flowers - just thought that an old man with a hurting back should 'take it easy'.

I will not let my body win this battle - pain is my friend!






Well, maybe not my friend, but it assures me that I am still alive.
