*sigh* I'm loosing my touch. (Warning: Hi-jacked by Em)

Oh no, Tan, I hope you're okay. Did the doctors find out what caused it?
I was thankfully at the doctors office. I was getting my blood drawn (which I've done before with no problems) when I just passed out and apparently started seizing. They said it was probably caused by low blood sugar...

I hope all is well Tani! Take care of yourself!

Some people pass out when their blood is drawn as a defense reflex your blood vessels collapse your blood pressure drops off the map and you pass out, not sure about the seizures... so sorry you don't feel well.

Critter has passed out a couple of times after donating blood; I've seen Milo go down and seize (just for a few seconds) when his blood pressure drops. Scary to be sure!

Very gentle hug, Tani. Don't want to hit a sore spot.

Ughhh. I was planning on prepping my rooster for the show this morning, but yesterday I fainted and had a seizure (never happened before, very weird) and this morning I'm just too tired and achy to move.

Can I just get a pause button for life?
I am so sorry to hear that!

My youngest DD is 15 and fainted in school last week. There was no seizure though.

They think it was an inner ear infection since there was fluid causing the ear drum to be tight. She did have a full blood panel and she now needs to work on sugar control(pre diabetic) and her triglycerides were a bit too high.

I am not surprised--runs in the family.

With your symptoms, I would suspect something similar(inner ear infection).

Quote: Maybe. They did look in my ears... I need to finish up all the tests, though.
I have a history of dizzy spells and fainting, thanks to a few nice heart conditions (mitral valve prolapse, postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome) but the seizure was new. The fainting itself was odd, I've only fully blacked out maybe six times... Yesterday, I thought I was having a normal dizzy spell, so I closed my eyes, and when I opened them, I was surrounded by nurses and one of my arms was fully dislocated from thrashing and having to be held down so that they could remove the needle in my arm.

OK, well, I still have to go to work today, of course. Those of you who are praying folks please pray for me... I'm sore and tired as all get-out.
