And I've been snickering about it. Oh, the chaperone!

Step 1) be brave!!! Step 2) walk over there, and say in no uncertain terms that you will not have that kind of talk anywhere near you, and if it continues, you will talk to the coach. Tell them they are being disrespectful and immature fools, who couldn't know real love from a potato if it hit them in the eye. They can act as infantile (use that word) as they want anywhere else, but you, as a lady, will not tolerate (use that word too) such perverse and vile talk. (use that phrase while you're at it!) sound smart and suave, and they have a higher chance of respecting you. Don't mention God or your parents, they'll just make fun of you. Don not back down, no matter what. If they do continue,carry out on your threat to go to an authority figure, such as a coach or teacher.

I don't think that this is a new thing, but I just joined the swim team. Each of the jokes was about couples on thier honeymoon, I left after the first couple of jokes but the other girls really seemed to enjoy it. And Joe isn't a sparkly boy! speaking of him, my mom banned us from seeing eachother

we still secretly contact eachother throught BYC though.

1st of all, those are girls. You are a lady. You have honor, you have a beauty beyond the physical, you have poise.You deserve nothing less than respect. Do not be afraid to demand it. 2nd, if your mom says no Joe, don't go against her. The only thing that could make her SURE that you two aren't right for each other is you sneaking around behind her back. But, if you and he respect her wishes, she'll see you both as mature and respectful individuals, making her more likely to let you date. Get it?
