Ok, this is short-circuiting what little brains I have left. We all know that sparklies get to engage in water sports with the moat denizens.
I've been thinking that Ebob's lack of sparkle has been his salvation. JD has offered to take Ebob under his wing, now Queen Em

is making offers - Is Sour going to have his way, is our one true un-sparkly destined to go swimming after all?

The Christmas tree is up and decorated.

I had to suggest to the Princess that either she could do the decorating or keep quiet.

Mostly she kept quiet.

This is the 48th tree that we have decorated together and the 51st Christmas that we have been together. When I met her in November of '62, she was dating two other guys - girl had to buy 3 presents that year.

I quickly eliminated the competition or maybe she just could not afford buying all those presents? Engaged in August of '63 and married January of '64 - a couple of 'dumb kids' who got very lucky.
