On a happier note, my husband had one of his sweet-but-goofy moments. He bought me . . . wait for it . . . a folding tree saw. Didn't see that coming, did ya? Said he saw this display of garden tools, and this one just had my name on it (?!). It's a Corona, which is a nice brand. I will certainly be using it around here, and it is so nice to have good tools for the job. Thank you, Hubby, I really appreciate this thoughtful gift - but there is no way I am going out at 25 degrees at 8:00 this morning just so you can watch me use it!

Oh Bunny, Thank you!!! I have several friends that think I'm nuts because I don't get all glittery eyed over jewelry...but put some brand new tools in front of me and I'm in HEAVEN!! I'm so glad I'm not the only woman that loves tools!

Now...Sour, you have the broody dance...does anyone have the "Snow go away and DON'T come back!" dance??? Between the torrential rains almost 2 weeks ago, then the 15 inches of snow, then the flooding and subsequent almost-drowning of the chickies (darn things were just standing there, not even trying to get in the coop), then the snow and ice immediately following that, and now the snow,...wheewwww...Is it any wonder I'm ready for spring? It's only the 2nd of February and I'm sick of snow!!

Hey, doodle. We missed you! So far my 'snow avoidance' dance seems to be keeping most of the snow West/SW of here. Of course that has not turned out well for you.
