Em, I think the day is coming when I may have to take the 'test' again. Isn't there some point at which old codgers must retest? Frankly, there should be.

I think that's the case here in NC; I know it has certainly been discussed. There is a provision that the driving test is done "at the discretion" of the DMV, so it's possible that an older person might have to retest every time they renewed their license. Heaven knows, I have known a few older folks that really had no business behind the wheel.
