*sigh* I'm loosing my touch. (Warning: Hi-jacked by Em)

Alaskan - hanging on by a thread. (Pun intended.)
lau.gif
A thread? There is a thread? Where is it? where? Is this thread warm? Warm and spiny with a love of, .......uh, .......pee? Or are you talking about a cold and squishy thread that becomes warm and pudgy when fed?

Erner is a decent ways away from Olderdom, and a decent ways away she shall stay. Once she becomes an almost-older she can enroll in the same classes as me, and then where will I be?! :th But still- why has she STILL not yet been outfitted with a bucket?! (Said from within the depths of mine- echo! echo!- where my breath is beginning to condense on the plastic.)

Alaskan hereby hands you a HANDMADE bucket! You may pass it out to all and sundry! (Including Erner)

After 18,679 posts on this thread that EM hijacked
almost two years ago...isn't "threadworn" a much
better description?

And tell me Sour : Did I see where and the Princess
visited Alaska on vacation once...Were there any
normal people there? Alaskan is the only person I
know from there and ... well, normal isn't quite the
word used when talking about our Alaskan friend.
(Something else totally comes to mind.)

BUT...If I was in Alaska, I would think the seven or
eight days of summer would be the perfect time to
try and escape. Hook my dogsled up and run for the
border. I would be in the real world come winter time
in Alaska next week.

I was looking at one of them Alaska vacation pamplets
down at the AAA office last week...and it showed some
girls having fun at the beach...wearing fur-lined long johns
under their bikinis.

Spook

Spook, you might think that I am loopy (which is true), but Alaskan actually passes as normal up here.

Alaskan has seen, actual human beings, surfing, in the water, here,in Alaska.

When my kids take swim lessons, there is always a "water safety" section. They go over how if you fall into the water, you need to stay in a ball, to increase the time you have before you die of the cold.

I've always preferred the low-protein versions.

But Alaskan, there need to be holes in that bucket. The poor girl has to be able to see where she's going. Yes, that might allow a sparkle or two to get in her eyes, but otherwise, she might be bumping into things (like sparklies) and Heaven only knows where that might lead!

Does that mean you don't want the ones with the leech sprinkles? They look so pretty! Ok, another handmade bucket
