*sigh* I'm loosing my touch. (Warning: Hi-jacked by Em)

Some of Alaskan's snow is supposed to come visit me on Thursday. I tried to tell it that I was much too busy for guests and I hoped it would understand, but all I got was, "Oh, don't worry! I can help you out with everything! I'll be no trouble!"

Alaskan that is "personal experience" talking. Sour has personal experience with getting points, so he's exerting some self control (it's hard though, isn't it?)

Yes, yes.

Alaskan, Critter has discovered a "reality show" called "Alaska: the Final Frontier," that I understand is filmed up your way. Awesome country! I can almost - almost - understand why a person might be crazy enough to live there.

It's been a lifelong rut, and thankfully it is not over.

or almost understand why a person might be crazy after living there.

That is the funniest show ever!

Alaskan went to a musical here in town this past summer (yes, I bathed before attending). Most of the musical was actually a stand up comedy about our town. A big part was all jokes about that show.

Their place isn't even at the end of the road. And their place isn't even all that odd or unusual, or hard to get to. Heck, you can drive to their house!

But, those camera people are tops at getting good pictures.

Back to that musical, my favorite part of the musical was the rewording of the YMCA song, with the chorus changed to "Come stay at the woods by Safeway, or the box at Pick-n-Pay," etc.

I watched one episode of that show- I believe that they were chasing down a lost calf on a snowmobile. After that one episode I was so depressed by all that snow that I changed the channel!

yep, yep, we have lots of snow.

But I like the odd houses around town,

- normal looking house, but the only entrance is through the garage
- derelict boat next to foam pretend stone tower
- school bus in the woods and swamp insulated with a tarp
- underground log cabin
- entire house including outlook tower made out of tires filled with dirt
- hike a half mile or more from any road to reach the house

the houses on the "Alaska, last frontier" show are super normal.
