*sigh* I'm loosing my touch. (Warning: Hi-jacked by Em)

Is that Alaskan's reward for hard-working voles? How generous!

(I assume that if any dismemberment took place, at least it wasn't your paws, since you can evidently still type.)

But, um, can I ask all members of the Kingdom to keep your eyes peeled? Y'see, Critter found "somebody" this morning. He wanted this "somebody" to wait in the tank with Mr. Lizard until Baby

got home, because he thought that she might like to meet him. Unfortunately, it appears that "somebody" got tired of waiting (Mr. Lizard can be rather boring company, I'm sorry to say). Anyway, "somebody"is not there now. We would very much like to return this "somebody" to his home . . . . He's about 8 inches long, and he looks like this:

Bunny Lady what species is your guest? As a lawn lover I know he is a snake in the grass and ought to be left in the Garden of Eden....

A loose snake in the house - always a welcome addition. My Father did not like snakes!!! I got into trouble several times because of snakes.

Snakes smakes!

:bun lady is in BIG trouble! All of that talk about snowbanks has caused my "it looks like spring" view to be replaced with blowing sideways snow. :rant

Yep.... One foot and still blowing. And yep...the plow truck was out of gas... Yep.... Alaskan's fault..... And the spare jugs of Diesel? Only one, not two.... Also Alaskan's fault....

Our accidental house guest is a juvenile Black Rat Snake, also called a Western Rat Snake or a Texas Rat Snake (Pantherophis obsoletus).
Did he take the lizard?
No, and the lizard seems quite happy to have seen the back of his rather rowdy guest.
