Forgive us, my Queen

I'm afraid Wisher and I borrowed a few of the chairs for The Old Folks Home thread. The population was just exploding over there; we didn't seem to have enough chairs for all of the old folks to sit down! That's not good, y'know - some of them aren't too steady on their feet. I'll go collect them; I don't think they are needed there any more.

I have not talked about my apartment before now, because I was afraid the subjects would not feel it was appropriate for the acting queen, but now that the Queen has returned, I want to tell you all about it. You know the modest residence I occupy, off the south wing? Well, it is quite small, just two rooms and a bath. There is a small living space (like an efficiency) and a bedroom with a bath to the side. I originally had plans to dig a storm shelter underneath, and even put in a set of stairs to access it, but it was never finished. While not nearly as well stationed as the rest of the castle, it suits me. I have a small range in the corner kitchenette and I occasionally bake cherry pies. There is a small fridge, and a microwave. I have a breakfast counter at which I eat, and a sofa from which I watch TV. Feel free to stop by and visit, anytime.
