After hearing all the weapons Alaskan has...I've come to the conclusion that she is Sarah Palin.

THAT explains a lot! I think you are absolutely right!!

With dogs at least, you could basically do it with a turkey baster. Not a very complicated process. The insemination it self is really easy. The worst part is collecting the male genome...

Alaskan, I found a second axe blade, just like that one. It is without a handle though. I think they're about a hundred years old.

We have a couple of double-bitted axes around here. One ax head was found buried in the dirt when we were putting in a landscape for a new building at least 20 years ago. There's no telling how long it had been there, but the metal was still sound; Critter uses it to split wood all the time. It's a good tool, but man, that thing is heavy!

The other ax is a good bit smaller; it came from an older couple that my husband was helping to organize their attic. The gentleman offered to give it to him, saying that he had used it to split firewood, but he figured that he was past ever being able to use it again. You can bet Critter got a very funny look when he said, "my wife will love it - she's always complaining that the other ax is too heavy."

I don't use that big axe for anything, functionwise the Fiskars axes are superior. They make, in my opinion, the best gardening tools. It's the oldest still functioning company in Finland, founded in 1649.
