Barefoot is nice, but flip flops I can't stand. I want to be either barefoot or in proper shoes.

Flip flops were designed by a monster. There is no way I could stand that thingy between my toes. It would drive me insane. My feet are tender so it's cowboy boots or work boots year-round for this old feller.

You know that your old if you understand what the song is referring to "I blew out a flip-flop I stepped on a pop-top"...... Kids these days have never seen a pop top like what was referred to, Our dear queen may be too young to remember, altho she is close to the age she might have seen some on beer cans that was using those type pull off tabs after sodas stopped using them......

Though mentioning entertaining things, at one time, Critter had several Jimmy Buffet albums on cassettes that he copied from his brother's collection. No idea if BIL still has the records now
