*sigh* I'm loosing my touch. (Warning: Hi-jacked by Em)

When I went over to the barn to feed the horses this morning, I knew I would have a mess to clean up. The deluge yesterday meant the horses had to spend all day in their stalls, so the stalls were a nasty mess. What I hadn't reckoned on was that while one of the other owners was working their horse in the round pen, the horse somehow managed to split a piece off the back corner of one hoof. We got the bleeding stopped and the foot cleaned and wrapped up, but the owner didn't want to pay for an emergency visit on a holiday, so the vet will be called tomorrow. When the owner went home to get some supplies to wrap the foot, she found out her turkey was on fire . . . .

Is it any wonder that I like to hang out here? It's calmer, and much more predictable.

Merry Christmas, y'all!
