*sigh* I'm loosing my touch. (Warning: Hi-jacked by Em)

I hope Em and MFB did not get any of that bad weather...

We did. We were directly in the path of the big tornado. We had a funnel cloud pass directly over the house. Thankfully, it never touched down. Except for some stuff flying around outside that we haven't identified yet, we are all fine. We will check the damage outside tomorrow. The important stuff is inside the house, and they are all fast asleep and safe.

Merry Christmas to you, Sour.

Glad ya'll are OK, Em. We've had thunderstorms here, but nothing as dramatic as a funnel cloud (of course, T-storms in December is pretty weird just by itself). Not much drama of any kind around here, just the ordinary - things like Critter trying to drop a pergola on me (he missed, obviously) and stuff like that.

SO HAPPY that you, MFB, and the kids are safe! When I read (on the internet weather page) where the storms had hit, I knew they must be close to y'all. I was hoping they missed you, but as long as no one is hurt, the rest is fixable. I will be waiting to hear a damage report when ever you get a chance.

Love and Merry Christmas to all! (Flubber that Chunky Monkey from his Aunt Wisher!)

ETA: Just for kicks and giggles, flubber MFB for me, too!

Well, amazingly, it doesn't look like much is damaged. A few branches are down, and everything is flooded, but I don't think we lost anything. I swear sometimes I feel like we have a very protective guardian angel watching us, because we are so blessed!

Merry Christmas to you all. I've got a ton of wrapping to do today. I hope you all have a wonderful holiday.

Wisher, I'll be sure to get them all for you, but you really need to visit very soon. Maybe spring, then we can pull up some chairs under the oaks, watch the critters and drink some tea. Of course, that invite stands for you all. Just stop on by.

Wet and messy is nothing new in Florida, right? So glad that's all it was.

Wow . . . it just hit me. Luke is 7 weeks old, isn't he? My how time flies! How are you doing, Em - or have you been too busy to even ask yourself that?
