I am unfortunate enough to have not only a extremely protective dad but four extremely protective brothers. It's aweful, they don't let any guys get within two yards of me. And my brother has even threatened to follow me to Oxfard so that he can shoot my dates while I am at college because he said I was too much of a flirt to be trusted at college alone!

Unfortunate? Girl, you are very fortunate to have a family that cares about you enough to want to make sure that 1) you don't get taken advantage of, and 2) don't make poor decisions that you can't take back (like, say, falling in love and marrying a deadbeat.Like Lydia Bennet does!)

And if you are enough of a flirt to be called Lydia Bennet (we've all been there, trust me) maybe you need your family around. The truly nasty guys will see a flirt and think of her as easy prey, because she already gives that small bit of herself away, who's to stop her form giving away more? A brother willing to help you out is a gift!
