My permanently broody Silkie has a chick! I gave her a Cochin egg just to see what she'd do with it, and two Mille Fleur eggs a few days later. She ate one of the MF eggs, but the Cochin hatched yesterday (has it really been 3 weeks?!) I haven't decided whether to pull and candle the MF egg that she still has, or just wait and see what happens. Either way, I reckon I'll find out soon whether she still has the use of her feet!

I just realized you might be safer around Em's castle. I have a moat too, it has Goliath Tigerfish and Goonch catfish in it. Not to mention the electric catfish and eels. You'd have to feed them too.

I may just have to fend for myself.
