I'm betting that's from a Barred male over some other colored female with dark legs. Rocks should have yellow legs. They will often have a dark 'wash' over their legs, but their actual legs should be yellow, and the wash will mostly be on the front sides and down the toes.

1,2 females, 3 maybe girl, 4 boy?On the 16th evening to 17th morning of April, (approximately 3 days ago) I hatched 4 cute little barred plymouth rock chicks! (YAY!!!)
Any guesses on the sex? I've tried to attach a photo of their head spots, legs and wing feathers. All chicks apart from chick 2 have started growing wing feathers, but I think it might be still too early to tell their gender. I thought it was worth checking to see if there was any experts that might be able to tell! (I have a suspicion that they might be all roos)
CHICK 1 (hatched 14 hours earlier than the others, hatched within an hour after pipping and was super active as soon as hatched, also the biggest chick):
CHICK 2 (hatched 2nd, hatched 6 hours after pipping, and also the smallest, darkest chick):
CHICK 3 (hatched 3rd, 5 hours after chick 2)
CHICK 4 (hatched last, 3 hours after chick 3)

Okay. I'm still sticking with my vote of boy, but the fact that it's a cross makes me a little bit less certain.
Yh i had 2 barred rock chicks mine is a roo he was super friendly still is. The other chick didnt want to be held i put the both down only Chirp boy ran to me. I sold the other one
My one ended up a pullet. She's hard to tell apart from the other pullets. I didn't get a single cockerel...I figure once they're old enough to crow and / or lay eggs, we'll both have an answer!
