They are called Webkinz and the are collectable like beanie babies. They have a tag on them with a code number to play some game or something online. Anyway, I was looking for fuzzy chickens to put in my brooders and found that they had a chicken series in the Webkinz and bought three. Lots of people have PM'd me when I post brooder pics asking where I get the chickens. I get mine from eBay. If the tags are removed and you don't have the code they sell for a lot less on eBay. My chicks don't mind not having the code but I bought new with tags for ChanceRider. I even wash mine in the washing machine with a couple of towels on delicate and air dry between hatchings. The cutest thing ever is a yellow chick snuggled up next to a fuzzy stuffed chicken. I figured, "who wouldn't like that?"

Thanks for the info.

Awww, you ought to call him "Independent Chicken" (Indy) since you don't have to feed, water or clean up after him.

There will be no crowing out of that one

Isn't it funny when they try to be "practical"...my mom's x-husband once gave her a car jack for christmas. I mean, that is what she got. A car jack!

That's just funny! This man would get something like a new set of pots & pans (for me to cook his meals in), or a new sewing machine (for me to make and mend his clothes) as a gift from me if I were his wife. Those are about as practical as a car jack.

I ordered the gift for my partner, but it hasn't arrived yet. I'm going to call the company tomorrow to see what the hold up is. Hopefully it will come soon so I can get it out.

Here is my gift from Painted Pony. It is a pillowcase with lavender sachet in the edge. It is absolutely beautiful and smells great too. Thank you Cindi!!
