Silence Is Not Golden Here

Well chicks are out with the teens.
The teens are very interested about them.
Not trying to get to them and hurt them just looking and studying them

I put mine out in the run, under the shade - I worry that it would get too hot in the coop for them, without the ability to come and go like the other birds.

I love the rust coloration mixed in with all colors. the true sign of a rooster. I'd love to see pics even though I know you are terrible about getting them (so you say)...

Better late than never... right...? I actually remembered to take my camera out and try to take photos earlier. Here, have some birdspam.

CB (CryBaby - ALWAYS complaining...) -

And Deuce, (aka Deucalion, since someone said he needed a heroic name) -

Deuce was second to hatch, and required help. His egg was half the size of the rest.

Obligatory photo of Copper, the remaining older Serama boy;

Quick photo of the eight Muttly chicks;

This one I suspect is a boy. He was investigating the big feeder, while the older birds tried to sneak into the chick pen to raid their feeder. They all get the same food.

Love em. Blueroo is gorgeous as is Copper (I mean, they all are, but those two are my faves).
I look forward to seeing your Muttly chicks grow - can't wait to see how they turn out!
The grains are always greener in the other feeder...
