Definitely not a female. See the sickle feathers, saddle feathers, sharp and dark hackle feathers? Notice the comb and wattles.

Buff Orpington. He’s at the bottom of the pecking order. 5 months old and the girls hardly let him eat. I’ve been feeding him egg an salmon and he popped his feathers up today. Gah!!!!
