Silence Is Not Golden Here

I hate coons! Sounds like our animal control here!
I do too. They are nasty animals that are too smart for their own good. There was a barn I used to ride at and there were several coons that made their home around the Barn. There were several times they chased me and my sister out of the barn. This was before I knew how to handle a gun (plus it was someone else's property and he didn't want to deal with the coons. We binned up the cat food and grain, but then the coons turned on the barn cats and killed them.

So guys... how does one go about bathing chickens? I've got 13 adults that are in serious need. Most of them, actually all of my adults, have feathered legs and or beards. they also have dirty butts - can this be normal or does it mean there's a problem necessarily? Anyway thought I'd give them a bath while I'm off and have the time but not sure how to go about it. Is this ok here or should i start a thread?
I trim dirty butt feathers. I have one hen who gets really bad because her butt protrudes very far back. If you have a lot of birds with dirty butts, I would get them tested for intestinal parasites.

I do have several with dirty butt feathers. I guess I'll do that. They're just now a year old. Is there a good dewormer I could give them a dose of?

So just plain water to soak. My bearded gals all have dirty beards and I really want to fix this.
I'd use castile soap and a sponge. But I would have a clean bucket to move them to for a rinse. Hosing them off doesn't work too well unless you feel comfortable taking them into the house.
