I'm beat, I just spent about 3 or more hours outside prepping to move chickens. But I had to mow the entire field. It was way over due in some areas and the mower kept getting clogged. It was also made interesting by the fact that I pulled all my cockerels out of 2 different containment areas and put them into one 100' section of fencing. The Blue/black Cochin cockerels were just upsetting the balance of my flock too much. I moved the larger Bantam Cochin/Choc Orp cockerels and my larger Cornish boys in with the LF Cochins Cockerels. I think they'll be able to hold their own. They are pretty spunky and the LF Cochin boys are relatively laid back. I left tiny, a small Cornish pullet and the BC/CO pullets in the PVC run I had them in and I'll move my lavender guineas and EEs in with them tomorrow. Those little girls are too small to be in with the main flock.
I also tripped on the poultry netting fence when we were done and I tweaked my bad knee.
Its all sorts of painful now.
