Enjoying Germany? Eaten delicious food? Like dampfnudel - those delicious poached dumplings @Zinjifrah enlightened us about. I've been reading recipes all week. Might try making them this weekend. If they are as delicious as they sound, I think they will have to be a Christmas morning staple.

They're incredible! I had them in Germany, where they're best... at Oktoberfest on the Danube. I've never found anywhere that sells them in the US, which is just a criminal thing. Since I hate cooking.

I will find a place to get them and send pics

Go to a Fest. Every one that I went to had someplace selling them. Also, if you weren't vegetarian, I'd say to try the mutton sandwiches.
