Silence Is Not Golden Here

Ok, y'all. I need some advice.
My neighbors dog kept attacking my chickens, so I stopped free ranging them and built a run for them (ok, it's a fenced in area, about 400sqft). They occasionally get out, and two did today while I was out. Both got chased, but one, Kathryn, lost some feathers but seems alright. But Samantha, she didn't fare so well. All the skin is gone from her neck with some of it hanging off still. I cleaned her up and put some Neosporin on her neck, but is this something she can recover from? Would the kinder thing to do be to cull her?

When my dog attacked, the damage was the same.
We used Blu-Kote because at the time we did not have neosporin.
We did not wrap it or anything. we kept her inside in a dog crate for about a week until her neck started to close up then slowly put her back outside.
She survived.

I have no more advise than that, sorry :(

Ok. That gives me a little hope. I have her inside with Kathryn to keep her company. Also one of my roos, Miles, was hasseling Kathryn. She's a little slow right now and he could catch and mount her, so she came inside. I let Tuvok handle him. It's hilarious to see a bantam Cochin pin a Sliver Laced Wyandotte. Especially since Tuvok is so gentle and sweet with his ladies.

Good morning, it is a lovely morning here. I'm trying something new and I got the Milk Drinker asleep by 9:30 last night and he slept until 8 this morning! I feel like a new person! I was asleep by 11 last night.
That's awesome!
My D'Uccle eggs are starting to hatch! :celebrate
