Silkie acting strange

A cooler room in your house could possibly work, or maybe a garage. And you could put her back outside in a dog kennel duing the day.
Ditto Dat!

they appear apphrensive to go in coop and are standing outside by the door wondering whether it is worth going in.
Broodies will do that, another good reason to crate them for breaking...
....and separate if letting them hatch.

Mine are trained to nipple waterers, which really pays off when crating.

Can I bring her in the house in the cage until she stops being broody? Perhaps letting her in run 15 mins a day with others and then bringing her back in. I am the proverbial mother hen and would appreciate any advice. If input the dog cage in run during day I think she may get too cold as she can't move around or go in coop as she normally would obviously.

Since that sounds like your only option, I would pick a cooler room in the house and use that. During the day, if it's fairly dry and moderate, I would move the entire cage out to the run when possible - it's mostly to ensure she doesn't become a stranger to the flock which would then require reintegration. If that's not possible, then let her spend some time out in the coop/run with supervision (to ensure she doesn't just bolt for the nests again) .

To let you know happily I broke her broodiness. Took 3 days, basically I brought her in the house coolest room for three nights mainly as it was cold outside temperatures and she wasn't huddling up with others to keep warm in coop but she sat on empty nest. Took her out during day and put in run with others, first day she ran back to nest, second day was out for 7 hours then went back to nest and third day didn't go back the nest and was scratching around and eating tons of food and preferring the dust container in the run. Luckily the others did not copy her broodiness. When she was indoors I had her in a cat cage with no straw just some food and water. Thanks for advice. Will be ready next time!

Excellent!

And my first time breaking a broody, we were out in the rain trying to cobble together some sort of "cage" using the body of a rickety wood cart wrapped it in chicken wire. :D It was very homemade, but for what it was, it worked well enough to do the trick.
