babies dad is a black silkie. Her mom is either a barred rock, a white crested black polish, or a barnvelder.
Any guesses??
Edit: She only has 4 toes

Barred rocks are pretty big for Silkies, but I know they can make it work! But at this young age I would guess a Polish or the Barnevelder. It will becime clearer as the chick ages.
Just realized.... what color egg did it hatch from???
Barnevelders lay dark browm eggs, Barred Rocks lay lightish brown, and Polish lay white. Thats the best indicator there!

Thanks for responding! My polish lays a chalky light brown egg as does my barred rock but just light brown not chalky. My barnvelders eggs vary greatly in color. The egg in question was under my broody silkie when two hatching babies got crushed so the egg was filthy and I'm not entirely sure the shade of brown it was.
My barnvelder is huge and the eggs I'm 100% are hers were all fertile though :D

Thanks for responding! Gold laced. The polish is what I'm guessing/hoping. I'm so excited, she is the only not black chick so far.
