Silkie baby...what color is this?

hmm looks black to me but thats just IMO lol. we had 3 that looked just like that and we ordered them for Ideal as black.

Could we get a "head on" shot to see his comb? He is a cutie... looks like the blue that everyone ID'd for me, but much more aesthetically pleasing. Very pretty bird.

I bought him as a roo, and the splash one as a hen. I'm keeping my fingers crossed...

They're both sooooo sweet...these are my first silkies, and I love the breed already!​

The blue I'd say is a cockerel. The splash is way too young to tell.

How do you tell sex on silkies? I hatched out 17 of 18 eggs and need to rehome some but would like to keep more hens than roos. Have no idea how to tell. They are still too young at this point, only 5 weeks.
