Silkie Barred Rock chick

wondering if the dotted head on this chick is still true of being female or if mixing breeds disqualifies the dot. Silkie dad, barred rock mom. Other chicks hatched with this one are full frizzle silkie and silkie/bantam cochin so their size difference is throwing the barred rock mix. Thank you for any help!

Rooster needs to be gold based.
Going to have to disagree here. Maybe for a red sex-link. But in this case we're talking about essentially black or barred sex linking which should work regardless of the male (except for maybe white) so long as it's non-barred. I am still not seeing how this would not be sex linked. Male offspring would all have barring and females would not given the crossing the op indicated.
