Silkie Bath!

This morning I went outside and my Silkies looked a mess! Since I didn't have much in the way of plans today... And because this really great animal rescue is having a fundraiser tomorrow - pet pics with Santa... I decided it was Silkie bath day!!! I got some cute pics so I though I would share. I'll add our Santa pics after tomorrow too

All wet in front of the heater! Woke baby girl up from her heater nap... She was none too happy with me!

I discovered today that there is nothing weirder looking than a half dry Silkie

All dry! So puffy and purrrty

I use my kids shampoo that has conditioner in it. Orange Mango by L'Oreal

I love giving my silkies a bath, and watching them snuggle in as I blow & brush them dry. They are better behaved than my kids.

My Pom/Chiu mix would lay on her towel on the bathroom counter & fall asleep as I blew her dry.

I used no tears kids shampoo too... I think ours is L'oreal too

They were so cute!!! The bigger one kept trying to roll over on his back in the water

They definitely don't want to go back outside, they're both knocked out on the towel in front of the heater still!​
