Silkie breeding, genetics & showing

Hi guys, sorry to butt in ....
I have a blue boy, about 1 1/2 yrs old. He won a blue ribbon at NEPC last January, so he has something going for him, I think he beat like 6 other cockerels.
Anyway, it seems he is turning Cuckoo, he has alot of white stripes/ patches growing in as he gets older.
So much for him in my BBS pen, but is anyone working on a Blue Cuckoo pattern, or should I just sell him PQ?

This is one of our splash boys hatched on Mothers Day. His comb is not bad, color is mulberry, he does have visible wattles, his toes and feet are nice. His wings are hanging a bit low in these pics. We are considering using him in a bbs pen. Can you please critique?

people hatch and grow out 100s birds a year to beable have nicest show birds you take what you have witch is nice and improve on it it probly wasnt the color that you silkies lost on it could been good many things a win is never in the bag till judge make his judgement and one judge might like your hen better it is a $3 opionon as i always say

He is a pretty bird, but check his right wing. If you have bad wings on the left side of his pullets next year, you'll know where they came from.On the right side his primaries are folding outside the scondaries.

I mean, the judge didn't even notice the only "splash" hen was grey, not splash. So yep, $3 opinion...

I thought your splash roo was a beautiful color and much better than mine...as mine is a dark splash roo...although he is very gentle and round like a soccer ball...lol sorry these are taken with my phone quickly this afternoon after I saw you put your beautiful roo up....

Should you be looking for a light colored spalsh or dark? after 'type' that is...
I have two light splash girls that I am going to try and breed him with and see....
