That's what I've been told.

I'd rather get Ameraucanas in Canada, but I am interested in importing some quality Houdans. I need some better colour in my own. Mottling is tough to work with!

The other issue with importing birds from "across the pond" is health. I have friends that imported birds from Ireland. They suffered from serious shipping stress and then proceeded to become infected with every disease known to poultry on this continent because their immune systems were completely unprepared. Not an easy proposition!

That is a most beautiful bird..I would keep him....his color is my idea of a blue roo to the Standard description
