Can someone explain what the porcelain coloring in silkies is? Is it a new color?

It would be good to check the pullet's back and tail for straightness. Also, check to see if the hips are even. If not, it may lead to scoliosis and/or roachback.I agree with previous imput. Do check her tail for straightness. It looks crooked in this photo but it may be the way she is standing. To check her make sure her feet are side by side.
She kept walking off from me so it could have cause it to appear crooked. Will get her back out tomorrow and check to see, I still have to get my black hen cleaned up. Here's a picture, Jacqui. "Porcelain" is a project color that many people are working with. The name has not been settle on.
