Yeah he does look dark blue to me. Unless the lighter underfluff is just a reflection from the sun.

I think that's just sunbleaching. They said he was sun bleached.

Just got home from Newnan, Georgia. Fabulous show (although it was STINKING cold!) and even more fabulous folks. Had a great time meeting everyone and seeing all the swanky birds!! Thought y'all might enjoy seeing this one of Shorty Polston who got Best of Breed and Best Featherleg with a white pullet.

Hey BarnGoddess....I am the red-head you talked with at the meet and greet...it was so much fun talking to you. I hate I did not get to catch up with you during the show. Between sales and checking on show progress I think I walked 20 miles that day. It was wonderful to meet you and hope to see you again at another show!

I met a friend showing at the show in GA and bought a beautiful paint pullet and a black split to self blue hen. Now...gotta find a nice true black roo for the black breeding pen and I should be set to go for the spring!
Can someone post a pic of a foot booty for silkies?? I want to boot those I plan on continuing showing this year and can't find a pattern. With a pic I should be able to figure it out...thanks!
