Silkie breeding, genetics & showing

I know i need to by a standard but since we are on the subject if greys. I have a light colored juvenile. I'm pretty sure it will darken some as it matures. It does not appear to have penciling on the body feathers but does have markings on wing feathers. I know this probably isn't great but wanted to get your opinion.

You would be amazed at how many breeders and a few judges have never read the grey color for Silkies. I once bought a string of gorgeous chinchilla greys from a master-breeder exbibitor. He was culling them for having light heads instead of the darker ones normally called for in other breeds. I bred very good greys from those birds that won a lot.

I love the look of the silver partridge. Unfortunately the barring isn't desirable. Here some good color info. http://www.browneggblueegg.com/StandardColors.html#gray

What do chipmunk stripes mean as far as color and breeding? I have several different color chicks hatching with these markings but when they feather out they are normal color.

I had a chick that looked like a silver partridge and grew up to look like this. It doesn't look like the pictures of silver partridge roosters that i've seen. Is this just leakage? I plan to sell this guy and another that looks just like him with gold in the same places that he has silver. I want to know exactly what I've got first. Thanks!
