Silkie breeding, genetics & showing

Well, I took some picture of my girl who has very flaky, dry skin and I have been applying some vaginal cream but it actually look even worse to me. It seems to be too strong for her. Sorry. she looks terrible with oily and creamy stuff all over her. Anyway what else could i do? Should I stop the cream and try vaseline instead? It doesn't seem to be contagious at all so that is a good thing, but I really need to fix her though.
mites? looks pretty bad make sure she doent come in contact with any other birds or animals looks pretty contagious if it is mites sprinkle seven dust on her might take several times though good luck!! and i hope she gets better whatever it is

Here's a picture, Jacqui. "Porcelain" is a project color that many people are working with. The name has not been settle on. Some options are "blue-cream" "self-cream" "opal", etc. Here is a great representation from Catdance. Definitely an adorable boy or girl! :D
Wow that's pretty!

I wonder if an old fashioned bath in oatmeal water would help? When my kids were little and had any kind of rash or dry itchy skin, I always gave them a bath with a packet of Aveeno Oatmeal Colloidal Bath. If this doesn't work for your silkie, you can always use it for your family.
From the Aveeno website...
"For itchy, irritated skin, this soothing bath treatment is made of 100% pure Natural Colloidal Oatmeal - an ingredient long recognized for its ability to relieve itching - that AVEENO® mills into an ultra-fine powder. When dispersed in water, this powder forms a soothing milky bath that works as a natural cleanser, provides temporary skin protection and relieves irritation and itching due to poison ivy/oak/sumac, rashes, insect bites, and eczema. It also soothes prickly heat, chicken pox, hives or sunburn. And, it's even gentle enough for sensitive skin, being a skin protectant, fragrance free and soap free."
