question, my friend (Angelobutter) said she has a hovabator I could borrow for my 1 older egg to hatch. Would this work? Has anyone ever used a hovabator?
I've never used one, but most people seem to love theirs.
Here's what I'd do though (I'm not really sure how many eggs you got now). I'd stagger the hatches and use one for the incubating and the other for hatching. Move the eggs over to the second bator on day 18, when you'd up the humidity. Let the older eggs hatch in the extra bator and the newer eggs keep cooking in the original![]()
I'm setting some Silkie eggs in my own incubator today and I'm thinking about starting a thread in the hatch-along section, you should join if I do. We could be hatching buddies![]()
