Silkie breeding, genetics & showing

And another. This guy is three months old and completely unrelated. Wings are crappy but different than the guy above. What is going on with this guy?

I have heard you can train them by correcting them when you see it or taping them for a little while. I believe it was Sonoran who mentioned this? My rooster's wings were like this too until just a month ago. He is 7 months old.

Okay critique time....

This is a six month old cockerel, you can see the wing issue...what do you think hold onto longer or not? What is going on with that wing? I had someone suggest that the primaries are a little twisted.
Also sorry about the funky off-color with these images.

The right wing is OK, the LEFT one is slipped, with the primaries folding outside the secondaries. He will throw bad RIGHT winged birds. What a shame, I like the rest of him.

Yes that was what I was afraid of...darn. Thanks DDL;-)
I love this boy. He is not only gorgeous (he was a dirty mess in the pics) but he is a sweetheart. Sigh.

Man those things creep me out. Now, your little SILKIE pullet is a doll baby, looks like a pullet to me. She has a lovely, even vault IF she has one at all. This is good because an uneven vault (one sloping toward the back, or leaning more to the front) can screw up a crest. I don't like vaulted skulls and breed away from it when I can.

Great to know!! But you know that is a pic of the other wing right? So his left wing looks good now?
