At least you tried, but unfortunately we can't save them all.

It's last moments were very traumatic, even for me. Coming from someone who saw a chicken taking its last breaths while being attacked by its flockmates

I had a rooster, cannibalized by his hens once.

It started doing all sorts of weird head movements, and then started flapping its wings, and that was it. Suspecting it might have been something different than mycoplasma

Possibly. There's lots of things chickens can catch.

Has there been bird flu in your area?

As far as I know not really, plus my other birds were not effected. But these birds did come across the country

At least my other birds are doing great, that's my only consolation right now
