Silkie chicks: bearded or not??

Hi all


I finally did it!! I got some SILKIES!!
I’ve only had them for a few days and they’re still a bit jumpy, so the pics aren’t great. They are about 2 weeks old (my aunt got them when they were a week old and kept them for another week so she could surprise me for my birthday). I want to know if they are bearded or non-bearded?? Believe me, it makes NO difference to me, I think they are adorable either way, but I think it’s cool to know what to expect.
And also, I’m not sure if they can be sexed this young, but if anyone has a guess at the gender, it’d be much appreciated

(she’s the one looking at the camera, couldn’t get too many pics of her . She’s a white silkie.)


Daphne
(obviously I’m leaning towards bearded for her, but I’ll let the experts decide. She’s a white silkie.)


Lucy
(couldn’t get any good pics of Ethel, but she looks just like Lucy. They’re both supposed to be gray silkies.)


Marian

Billy Ray
(Okay, I know it’s a boy name and technically this could be a hen, but I just couldn’t shake the rooster feeling when I saw this chick. And I was really hoping for a Billy Ray Silkie . He’s supposed to be buff.)

I'm no expert but I would agree that Daphne is a bearded

All look bearded to me but Marian and maybe one or two of the others look like they might have smaller beards.

Billy can still be a girls name!! Most look to be bearded or have small beards going on. I love beards! Here's a couple of my bearded girls.

I had another question...
Skippy has a pink beak and skin.. is that normal for a silkie??? She has five toes and a little poof on her head. She looks exactly like the others except her skin color.
Her eyes aren’t pink that I’ve noticed, so I don’t know if she’s an albino. Should I make a new thread for this or does anyone know?
