You don't always know. It can feel like indigestion or peripheral pain. The warning signs can differ greatly between men and women. Familiarize yourself with them early - not just for yourself, but for all the women you care about.
And yes, eventually, they hurt, but by then, you've likely missed the warnings and could be in serious trouble. A 911 dispatcher likely saved my oldest childhood friend's life when she told her to unlock the front door, lie on her back on the floor where anyone coming in would see her immediately and leave the phone on. By the time the paramedics got there, minutes later, she was already unconscious. Fifteen years later, we still have her sassy self!
Oh wow that’s scary!!!!!!!!! Glad they saved her!!!!!!!! But yeah, I looked up the women signs immediately. Thankfully didn’t really have them except I’m always nauseous anyways lol but my chest was really tight and my fingers were tingly which Google said tingly fingers are extremely common with anxiety. I got up (was laying down) and took a scheduled anxiety med I’d forgotten to take and my inhaler (asthma) and then, later, a PRN anxiety med I’d forgotten. So yeah. And now I’m cooking. So all of that has made me feel WAY better so that’s why I’m pretty positive it was just a severe anxiety attack THIS TIME. But I know for next time. Lol

I've missed my BP meds twice in a row, on occasion, usually during vacations when schedules are off and relaxation is "on." Luckily, as soon as I felt that familiar head rush, I took them right away. Emergency avoided ... hopefully never to be repeated!

Oh wow! Yeah I need to remember my meds lol I took them like 1-2 hours late (there’s a slight window) but I also got home late lol

I have discovered that spending 2 days washing walls with sugar soap and no gloves (you are supposed to wear gloves but with a swollen thumb I can't) you will wind up with the skin peeling off your hands. Looks yuck, but no pain.
Oh gosh!!!!!!!!!!!
